What could I used to cut eye holes and air holes in a huge detailed latex halloween mask?

And how would I do it and would I burn the cut so it looks more natural?


I was thinking of using exacto knife.What could I used to cut eye holes and air holes in a huge detailed latex halloween mask?
An exacto knife would be perfect. Just plan the cuts well so you don't ruin your mask. You could burn the edges of the cuts so they will blend and look more natural....but I would think you might have to use something better than just an open flame.....maybe a piece of metal heated up so that you could hold it directly onto the mask?
