What do I use on my latex mould before casting in plaster?

My urethine (?) molds arrived today in teh post, they are wall plaques.





I have my plaster so wondered what else I need to start? Do i have to use a pre mold material on it to stop it sticking, or use something like vegetable oil?

Vegetable oil will deteriorate latex. Use baby powder, it works great. just brush it on lightly before each casting. Latex doesn't stick to much of anything, so you'd be ok to just use no mold release at all.
