What is the difference between latex and non-latex gloves?

Which ones are better? What is the difference between latex and non-latex gloves?
Obviously they are made of different materials. Latex is permeable and does allow certain chemicals to pass through it. Nitrile gloves on the other hand are pretty good at preventing chemicals from passing through them.

There is also an issue of latex sensitivity. Some people cannot wear latex. This information is all easily available on the web. What is the difference between latex and non-latex gloves?
Generally latex gloves are better, and cheaper. They offer better control and sensitivity to touch. However, there are people who are allergic to latex, so non-latex gloves (usually made of vinyl or nitrile rubber) are obviously better.

So, unless you or the person you are using the gloves with are allergic to latex, I would go with the latex gloves.
its seems like a lot of people are algeric to latex that is the reasoning for the 2 types. other than that both gloves perform the same.
Latex is made from natural rubber, all other rubber gloves are synthetic rubber. Some people are allergic to one or the other.
Latex gloves are made with latex. Some people are allergic to latex. There isn't really a noticeable difference. If you are allergic to latex, use non-latex gloves.
one has latex and one dont....one is not really better than the other but lots of people use the non latex cause they (me included) anr allergic
