How can I remove dryed latex paint splater off of a new car, without damaging the original finish?

I had a body shop instructor try a few different compounds with no results. Another body shop person suggested using a DA with 150 or 100 grit sand paper but there still a chance of damaging the cars surface. Does anyone know of a good product that will remove latex paint, without damaging the cars original finish?How can I remove dryed latex paint splater off of a new car, without damaging the original finish?

warm water and dish soap and just rub carefully, coarse cloth but not scratch pad. maybe use your thumbnail with the cloth around it. another way is rubbing compound and a buffing wheel.
