Is there any way to seal normal latex paint in a bathroom to stop it from showing marks?

Our bathroom has been painted with regular latex paint and I really like the color. Is there anyway to seal it to somehow make it water resistant as in regular bathroom/kitchen paint? Is there any way to seal normal latex paint in a bathroom to stop it from showing marks?
A clear coat of anything will not seal the paint, it just makes it look shiny. If you are talking about water stains, you can buy a tinted primer to match your existing paint and go over the marks with that. Like Kilz. If the marks are from crappy drywall spots, use a oil base primer, rather than a water based...It would cover better and be more durable.

But I would suggest getting the proper paint and going over it anyway. If you used anything but flat...you should be fine for a while. Most paint now comes with a ';mildewcide'; agent in it.Is there any way to seal normal latex paint in a bathroom to stop it from showing marks?
If the paint is semi-gloss or high-gloss, it should already be sealed. Paints with some level of sheen should clean rather easily. If it is flat paint, I would recommend you repaint with a semi-gloss or high-gloss paint. There may be some kind of clear coat gloss that you can buy. It would likely change the color somewhat. I would ask at a paint store (not Home Depot) like Sherman Williams.
