I'm a senior person looking for the most comfortable bed to purchaseWhat is latex and how what advantage is there is using a latex mattress?
The advantage of sleeping on a latex mattress is that it has a cooling effect, which is great for people who tend to sleep warm at nights.





It also is naturally antimicrobial, which it greatly decreases the chances of growing mold, mildew, or getting bedbugs. Also they're known for their durability. Yes, latex mattresses are pricey BUT they will last a lot longer than an innerspring mattress will. The chances of premature sagging is narrow.





Also if you sleep with a partner, latex mattresses have a decreased motion transfer. So if your partner gets up in the middle of the night, or is tossing/turning you won't feel it quite as much as you would with an innerspring mattress.
