How can people allergic to latex condoms have safe sex?

I'm allergic to latex, so when the time comes when I have sex with my boyfriend how can I protect myself? How can people allergic to latex condoms have safe sex?
Life is too short. Is it really worth 3 minutes of bliss and increasing your risk of contracting a disease such as HPV, HIV, STDS, or even AIDS????

Abstinence is the safest way to go. If he truly loves you and respects you as a person, he will wait until you are both married. You won't regret that you did. Seriously, do you really want to worry each and every time you do it the what ifs---what if I'm pregnant? will he stand by me and support the baby and me?? what if he wasn't honest about his health and he gave me an STD or worse AIDS???How can people allergic to latex condoms have safe sex?
There are many contraceptives out there other than condoms. Condoms are just the easiest to use. For example, you could start taking birth control pills. In some areas they're even free, and they're 99.9% effective. Female condoms are extremely awkward to use imo so I wouldn't recommend them.

If not there are non-latex condoms on the market out there, and they're pretty easy to find. In fact, most big condom companies like Trojan or Lifestyles offer non-latex condoms for people such as yourself.
Acctually there are latex free condoms. They sell them just about anywhere. If you are old enough to get into a sex shop you can buy individual ones so you can find the one that is just right for you. Also try places like Wal Mart and CVS. Just read the package. It should say latex free.
There are great non-latex condoms out there. Durex Avanti is awesome.

I also am allergic to latex and I used to use lambskin. They are more expensive but worth it because there is any irritation.
Look for polyeurethane condoms, you can get them at Walgreen's.
Look for condoms that aren't latex. There are different varieties out there.
you can take birth controle works the best
you can take pills
There are non latex condoms.. but they are really expensive. And I dont think the female condom is latex.
Both get tested to make sure you're both healthy. Go on birth control. Make sure you're both monogamous.
If you're talking about pregnancy, birth control, or you can try that spermicide stuff.

If you're talking STD's, nothing.
the pill screws up your monthly flow, DONT USE IT. just dont have sex then
