My allergy appears to be caused only by contact (I never have respiration problems.) Also, I've been tested for food allergies and was ok - no cross reactions. I only need to know about latex clothing and lingerie. Thanks people. Is cotton the only latex free cloth on the market? What cloth materials do not have latex in them?
Orlon, Nylon, Egyptian Cotton, Linen and silk come to mind for OK fabrics. But, you'll have to be careful that bras and panties don't have latex elastic, socks, too--if you're a gal.Is cotton the only latex free cloth on the market? What cloth materials do not have latex in them?
I have a severe latex allergy meaning anaphaxis shock. The only fabric I have ever had problems with is elastic.
nylon and polyester should have no latex
the problem is that people like to use elastic at the edges.
I have a latex allergy as well and have no problem with polyester, nylon and Lycra clothing.
latex clothing is really quite rare, you should have no problem avoiding it.
the biggest problem is latex gloves at dentists and doctors offices, but just ask them to use vinyl
Look for pure and raw silk.
